Objectives of the project:
The main goal of his project is to create 5 groups of self-help of deaf people in Opole voivodeship and connect them in a network of support to improve the social situation of deaf people in Opole voivodeship

Activities under the project:
• two-days meeting in Opole project team to discuss and clarify the course of the project 
• recruitment and training of about 15 volunteers. Volunteers should be available to the self-help groups during and after the project
• preparation and equipment of rooms to work self-help groups in five selected districts: Opole, Kluczbork, Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Strzelce Opolskie and Nysa 
• support in the establishment and work of five self-help groups (one group for one district), i. a. by two animators employed in the project and by trained volunteers in the project 
• training of leaders of self-help groups
• study stay in Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland for selected volunteers, group leaders and project coordinator to know the ways of functioning and support to self-help groups in Germany 
• connection in network of work five self-help groups by regular exchanges of information about the plans and methods of work, as well as by five discussion meetings involving all members of the five support groups

Me effective in action.

The project „Me effective in action” is a preparatory visit of international educational program funded by the “Youth in Action” Programme.

The project is the meeting of leaders, initiators of the project in order to develop methods and training program for volunteers aged 18–25 (female), who work for the development of local communities. The theme of the visit is to prepare a essential program of training for women aged 18–25 from 4 countries – Poland, Georgia, Spain and Ukraine. 
The aim of the training program is to support leaders in the active work for the local communities and the development of citizenship potential.
The task before the preparatory visit will be to elaborate a questionnaire which aims to explore the training needs and support for women – volunteers involving in the community life. Questionnaires will be distributed by each organization participating in the project to a minimum of 100 women (5 x 20 women from Poland, Georgia, Ukraine and Spain). 
The results of the study will be presented during the preparatory visit and will be the basis for the debate.  Methods of work during the preparatory visit is primarily a moderated debate, round table, work in groups, workshops, brainstorming, multimedia presentations, and integration games. The result of project will be: diagnosis of needs, forms of support needed for young women – volunteers and the elaboration of a future project to the next selection “Youth in action” – training program for women aged 18–25, who are associated with non-governmental organizations or are the volunteers, engaging in the life of the local community.
